About Canice Co.
Canice Co. grew out of a need to revive a neglected beach house that my husband and I purchased years ago. Decorating on a shoestring, meant buying affordable second-hand furniture which often came with cracks, chips, stains, etc. From experience with clay & chalk based paint, I knew that I could turn those “flaws” into beautiful features as well as create canvas art and décor for our home.
Painting became such a passion for me that my friends teased me that if my husband and children stayed stationary for long, I would paint them too! Instead of doing that, I turned my passion into my business – painting pieces, kitchen cabinets, canvas and home decor art for my clients.
Hi, I'm Canice!
Hi, I’m Canice. I am an artist and creative workshop emcee and speaker. I create one-of-a-kind canvas art and furniture as well as travel around the United States with fellow artists emceeing & speaking at workshops that are intended to help other creatives build their business by providing encouragement and answering questions related to creative business - all in a friendly, fun atmosphere.
I live in Maryland with my husband, Jim, our dog, Sadie, and our 3-legged, half-tailed cat, Joby. I love the beach & the ocean which is often reflected in my work and the colors I use. I also love encouraging people to pursue their dreams.
