We have the perfect opportunity for you: the Chosen to Create Spiritual Retreat. This Bible-based, all-inclusive* event invites creative women (just like you!) from all walks of life to come together in a nurturing, inspiring environment.
Come hang out with some of your favorite creatives & meet new ones. This year's theme is "Praising God in the Storms of Life". Our Presenters will be diving deeper and telling their personal experiences with life's challenges. This is a very intimate retreat. There is truly nothing else like this. We hope to see you there!
Retreat Presenters and Workshop Teachers will share personal stories and testimonies related to our theme, Praising God in the Storm. This year's lineup: Kathy Cook, The Vintage Dames; Rachel Sitton, The Painted Zebra LLC; Jennifer McKee, Jennifer McKee Art; Marita Luby, Reflective Arts Creative; Kim Spratto, Just South of Urban; and Canice Blair, Canice Co. Hands-on workshops will include: Mixed Media; Wearable Art, Canvas Art Painting; Reflective Arts; and more!
Activities - Times of prayer & worship, testimonials, hands-on creative workshops, delicious meals, and evening campfires. Catch up with old friends and make new ones, hike beautiful trails, sit by the water or just rest & enjoy the beauty of nature.
Accommodations - Hotel-quality, double occupancy accommodations. Each room offers 2 queen-sized beds, 2 in-room sinks/vanities, and a private bathroom with tub & shower. There are a few rooms available as single occupancy rooms; however, these are limited so you must act fast to get one. Also, Handicapped rooms available, but limited; so, please act fast and let me know if you need that. If you already know who you want to room with, please send me an email with your roommate's name or you may let me know in our Private Facebook Group that you will be invited to upon ticket purchase. Meals - All meals (8 total) are provided during your stay. Seasonal menus are carefully crafted and most food allergies will be accommodated. We will enjoy breakfasts, lunches and dinners together on the premises.

In Centreville, Maryland; situated along the banks of the Chester River; the perfect setting for our God-inspired retreat.
What is the cost?
This all-inclusive* event price includes 3 nights lodging, 8 meals, talks, workshops and more! Double occupancy hotel-quality rooms with two queen-sized beds, 2 in-room sinks, and a private bathroom with tub/shower. Limited number of single rooms available as well. Tickets are non-refundable.

Yes! 8 meals total: Dinner on Thursday; Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner on Friday & Saturday; Breakfast on Sunday; and snacks & beverages daily.

Would I️ be welcome as someone who is exploring what faith means to me?
Absolutely! You are welcome to join us. The heart of my retreats is to gather women together to grow deeper in our faith as we spend time in God's Word and encourage each other in the love of Jesus Christ.
What church / denomination are you associated with?
My retreat is not affiliated with any particular church or denomination of faith. My desire is that we grow closer to the Lord through a biblical context of understanding, through Scripture alone.
I️ consider myself an introvert. Will there be downtime or a place where I️ can be alone to recharge?
Yes, each day there is some free time to explore the retreat grounds and/or to unwind on your own. Please know that this is YOUR time and you may participate as much or as little as you desire.
Can you accommodate those with physical disabilities?
Yes, there are a few rooms at the retreat center that are handicapped compliant. Please contact me via email PRIOR to purchasing a ticket to make sure that this room type is available as tickets are non-refundable. My email address is: canicechic@gmail.com
Do I️ need to bring creative supplies?
If you have them, yes, but it's not necessary to attend. I provide most of your art supplies. However, once you are registered, I will send you an invitation to join our Private Facebook Group. There you will find this information and a lot more regarding how to plan for this retreat. If you don't have creative supplies, don't worry, we have you covered.
Do you give refunds?
No. Tickets are non-refundable.
